The Vinnies Sleepout is a one-night event where hundreds of CEOs, business owners as well as community and government leaders – all come together and sleep outdoors.
The main objective of this event is to help raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society, to support Australians in need. Furthermore, help change the lives of the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness and also those who are at risk of homelessness.
In 2019 Fire Safe ANZ’s very own CEO Paul Cunningham participated in the Vinnies sleepout – exceeding his goal of $5,000 with a total figure of $6,588. Unfortunately, this year Paul is unable to attend, and therefore, Fire Safe ANZ will be putting full support behind a friend and colleague from the NSW CEO Institute – Andrew Morse.
St Vincent de Paul is an organisation determined to shape a more just and compassionate society. They are dedicated to raising money to help provide for people who experience homelessness and are at the risk of homelessness, with vital access to food and accommodation. Furthermore, education, counselling, employment, and health services help people overcome poverty in the long term.
In 2021, participants raised $9.3 million and made a substantial impact. Overall, this enabled Vinnies to support the community via providing much needed individual support programs, beds, meals, financial & budgeting support, night vans and mental health support.
Everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
Help us support Andrew and show your support to Australians who are doing it tough and donate to the Vinnies CEO Sleepout today!
Thank You from the team at Fire Safe ANZ.
